alpha

The trees look green to me
I hope that what you all see
If you had to rhyme with town
you could have used greenish brown
But great photo as always
Lovely woods and sneaky rays

Rash

Lovely photo and must've been a great walk
If only you'd written a slightly bigger blog...

Parmanu

Alpha:
You dwell amidst a jungle of concrete
And speak of woods, green and brown
There aint one tree in your street
Surely the photo will make you frown

The green you see is through mind's eye
It clearly conveys your state of mind
When Envy rides within, and rather high
What exists is not what you find

Rash:
A bigger blog does take some time
Much easier to make two lines rhyme!

alpha

Man, your defenses are quite strong
To attack me in a poem that long
I live in concrete jungle, no doubt
Grey not red will bring my buildings out.

I'm glad you see trees out there by a trail
Must be awesome, do send me a leaf by mail.
I'll preserve it and try to understand
Who maketh fun of me living in Hitler's land.

Parmanu

My strongest defense is my trust
in you being the sport you are.
A crispy leaf from Earth's crust
you'll receive at a time not far.

alpha

First an insult,then a praise
I'm so touched,my eyes are aglaze (poetic license)
This has been a good excersie for me
Playing with the pro- Poetry-Poetry.

The Steppenwolf

Wow, is this some jugalbandi of a sort ?
with each one posting a quick retort ?!
Thought I will stop by, and give some praise
And join in into this rhyming craze.

Rash

The comments this time have been such fun
Am hopeless at rhyming so shall stop at this one

*chuckling away*

Hekate

In your verdant walk I strolled awhile
And your shenenigans made me smile

Patrix

Man, I am in company in some serious poetic brains...jugal-bandi with poetry is something my teeny brain cannot comprehend but I can merely stand and applause.

Lovely pic, Parmanu...the light amongst the greens is something I have been trying to capture for quite some time.

Parmanu

Jugalbandi first, Qawwali next
A dull post turned into a musical chest
One person's verse is merely amusing
Synergy is what makes blogs worth browsing.

Rash

It all started with your little poem
Wasn't long but was quite a gem ;-p

alpha

Trust Patrix to spoil the fun
its not difficult to rhyme, hon
Circumstances made me call you that
Normally I would just say, Pat.

Patrix

that isn't me !!!!

Rhyming words is an amatuer's game
Its so kiddish, outdated and lame
Good poetry is one which has no flow
So I hereby introduce- Patrix the pro.

alpha

that was me.
hee hee hee

Patrix

I don't spoil the fun,
rather walk the woods to enjoy the sun,
I nest now in the blue,
Trust the orange to see me thru,
I do best when I stand and praise,
for all this poetry continues to amaze,
Hey, I realize I can rhyme,
and it didn't cost me a dime.

Patrix

now that was me,
so you can see.

Parmanu

Patrix:
It was me, to your rescue
Couldn't really let alpha frisk you
Nice to see you join the game
No matter how kiddish, outdated or lame.

Aaar

I'm stressed out
To get some words out
If all you want is a rhyme
Head the nearest bell to hear a chime

The Steppenwolf

Ah, I see the game is continued
Nobody wants really to be subdued
You all, please continue and be at it
Let me come back, I'll re-join the fleet

Rash

This banter with rhyme seems far from over
It’s turning me into a dangerous verse lover
I wish more people would join the game
Posting a comment would never be the same!

Anita

Woah! I really don't know
How my contrib will go
Love the comments and the post
But most of all, love the host!
(I'm so sorry, Parmanu,
Mine is a prosaic soul,
When I try to get poetic,
All I find is a black hole.)

Leela

Hee hee hee hee
Ha ha ha
Hee hee hee hee
Ha ha ha

(There perfect rhyme
Without half tryin') ;-)
